Did you know that the Maine State Police uses planes to catch speeders on the highway?

WMTW just aired a story on how Maine state police officers track and issue tickets to speeders from way above the ground.

According to the news report, MSP uses fixed-wing aircraft to visually identify vehicles going much faster than others on the road, and then relays the information to waiting officers on the ground.
