Water Possibly Unsafe in Parts of Pittsfield

Because of a break in a large water main, a boil-water order has been issued for 689 to 798 Main Street in Pittsfield.

The order is in effect until further notice.

According to the order, you should boil water for at least five minutes before using any water, whether it's for drinking, brushing teeth, or any other activity.
