Waterville police announced today that four people are facing a variety of drug charges for an operation being conducted in a local hotel room. The surveillance of the hotel showed "a flurry of individuals going to and from the room" in question.

Chief Joseph Massey said in a press release today that surveillance was set up Sunday afternoon at the Budget Host Inn, located at 400 Kennedy Memorial Drive in Waterville. Two rooms were kept under observation throughout the day and a search warrant was executed at around 11:30 Sunday night.

That search netted 4 ounces of crack, 199 Oxycodone 30 mg Pills, and 17 Oxycodone 15mg pills. The overall street value of the drugs seized is approximately $19,000. In addition to the drugs, police seized $4,521 in U.S. currency and $1,200 in counterfeit U.S. currency.

Police discovered that two people were working in one room that contained the drugs, while a third worked in another room to take the orders and deliver the drugs.

The following people are facing charges:

Wentworth F. Rhoden, 31 of Bridgeport, Connecticut, charged with aggravated trafficking in schedule W drugs (2 counts Class A), Criminal Conspiracy to Traffic in Schedule W Drug (Class B), and refusing to submit to arrest or detention (Class D). Currently being held at Kennebec County Jail

Alexis Vilar, 24 or Bridgeport, Connecticut, charged with aggravated trafficking in schedule W drugs (2 counts Class A), Criminal Conspiracy to Traffic in Schedule W Drug (Class B), and refusing to submit to arrest or detention (Class D). Currently being held at Kennebec County Jail

Christina Pena-Cantor, 36 of Waterville, Maine, charged with Criminal Conspiracy to traffic in Schedule W drugs (Class B), and is being held on a probation hold for a Class A Robbery. Currently being held at Kennebec County Jail.

Robert Greatorex, 23, no home listed. Summoned on a charged of Criminal Conspiracy to Traffic in Schedule W Drugs (Class B). Court date is May 13th.
