These are pretty depressing new statistics. Not one state in America was able to decrease its obesity rate last year.

A new report from Trust for America’s Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation found that obesity rates increased in six states and decreased in none. In 2001 and 2012, the obesity rate increased in just one state.

The report found that in 2013 that the rate of adult obesity was higher than 20% in every state, and 42 states had obesity rates above 25%. These are the state where the obesity rates of adults increased: Alaska, Delaware, Idaho, New Jersey, Tennessee, and Wyoming.

The good news is that childhood obesity rates have generally leveled off.

Maine comes in 27th of the states with an obesity rate of 28.9%.
