We all have posted something on social media and had errors in it completely overlooking the post itself. A very personal story could be overshadowed by grammatical errors. That is why it is always important to make sure you proofread everything you write. That is also why most news companies have editors who make sure the copy is good to go out to the public.

Now some situations are worse than others. A headline could make or break an article, we've all fallen for click-bait articles where the title is so interesting we read a long winded post that gives us no information other than what the title says. But sometimes, we get a title like the Kansas Tribune put out. The story was about a 16-year old local girl winning the Miss Teen Kansas contest even though she was considered an underdog in the competition. There were a lot of things you could have said to describe this girls underdog victory, but what's in this headline is definitely not the right one.
