Widow-Kicker Kirstie Alley Classlessly Reveals ‘Secret Relationship’ With Patrick Swayze

Some secrets should stay secrets, especially when one of the people involved in the secret has since passed and can't defend himself, and when that secret might hurt a grieving widow who just wants to move on with her life.

This, however, did not stop actress and word-vomit-spewer Kirstie Alley from dishing she once had an emotional affair of sorts with the late Patrick Swayze on the 1985 set of their TV movie 'North and South.'

Alley, whom we actually used to like, dropped this little bombshell on 'Entertainment Tonight,' adding that although she and Swayze had immediate chemistry and eventually fell in love, their clandestine bond never become physical because they were both married to other people at the time.

Semantics aside, that didn't make her admission any less classless. And on some level, she knew it.

“I think when you fall in love with someone when you're married, you jeopardize your own marriage and their marriage. It's doubly bad," she prattled.

The 61-year-old 'Cheers' alum and perpetual reality-show star said she doesn't know if Patrick's wife of more than 30 years, Lisa Niemi, was aware of their on-set relationship. We're guessing that's a no, seeing as how Niemi asked Alley to speak at Swayze's 2009 funeral, but Kirstie said she and Lisa are close friends.

Correction, you dolt. You were close friends until you ruined the image of her late husband with the need to validate and draw attention to yourself.

Alley just can't seem to keep her mouth shut lately about her past love affairs, recently referring to her 'Look Who's Talking' co-star John Travolta as the “greatest love of my life” and noting that she had to physically restrain herself from running off and marrying him. (Aw. Always the bridemaid, never the beard.)

We get it, Kirstie. Men used to find you incredibly attractive. Good for Past You.

Now for God's sake, shut up and let Patrick Swayze rest in peace.
