Winslow Pit bull Owners Are Appealing The Euthanization Decision

Brandon Ross and Danielle Jones are appealing the decision that their two Pit bulls be put down after attacking and killing a 10 month old Boston Terrier.

This was not the first time the dog had been involved in an attack. The dog had also previously attacked two people.

Kennebec County DA Maeghan Maloney responded by saying, "The evidence is extremely strong" and that she doesn't see "any possibility" of the appeal succeeding.

According to the DA the appeal should be decided within a year. The owners have stated that they would be willing to "abide by any order" to keep the dogs alive.
