Wiscasset Man Arrested in Connection with Gardiner Shooting

Sean Kingston, 38 of Wiscasset has been arrested in connection with the shooting of his girlfriend in Gardiner over the weekend. According to Gardiner Police, he is accused of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

On Saturday night officers went to a Costello Road residence after a shooting was reported. The 34-year old victim, shot in the torso with a handgun, likely will recover from her injuries.

Monday (Dec. 9) morning, Kingston turned himself in to police. After being questioned, he was placed under arrest. Additional charges are pending. He is being held on $1,000 bail at the Kennebec County Jail.
