Woman in Stands Seriously Injured at Fenway Park by Flying Broken Bat

A very scary moment at Fenway Park earlier this evening as a spectator was hit by part of a broken bat.

A fan at tonight's (06/05/15) Red Sox-Oakland A's game was taken by stretcher after being hit by part of a broken bat hit in the second inning during Brett Lawrie's at bat.

According to the Boston Globe the woman who hasn't been named was sitting with her family in the box seats when she was hit by the bat then taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
