Inland Hospital presents the 18th Annual 'World of Women's Wellness' at Thomas College, Waterville this (March 28) weekend. You can 'spring into good health' from 9am to 2pm.

Women of all ages are invited to attend this free event. Inland and dozens of local organizations collaborate to offer free health screenings, wellness information and resources, interactive cooking and exercise demos, spa samples, gifts and door prizes. Inland's nutrition partner, Hannaford will be serving up some delicious food samples and ways to help women make healthy, low cost meals.

This year, women are encouraged to create an action plan for good health by setting one goal inspired by attending the event.

According to Ellen Wells, Inland’s Community Wellness Team Leader and event coordinator:

We all know that women tend to put others in our lives ahead of ourselves, so Women’s Wellness is a day to focus on you! It’s your chance to learn more about your own health in a fun, no-pressure setting, and walk away with a lot of simple, do-able ideas to make positive changes in your life.

Women’s Wellness is free and no pre-registration is needed. All attendees will receive a free gift from Inland and are eligible to win other great prizes. For more event details, call Inland Community Relations at 861-3292.
