The World Series Trophy Was at the State House Today
Today was our company luncheon. Every month we gather in the conference room and have delicious food catered by Lisa's on Bangor St. in Augusta. On the menu today was roast beef, a mustard ham, mashed potatoes cabbage and cupcakes. Thanks to Lisa’s for another great buffet.
Also today, in Augusta there was a stop for the World Series trophy.
After lunch our Office Manager extraordinaire, Amber and I went over to the State Capitol where the trophy was being shown off for pictures.
There was no line, we had to wait through a group of kids taking a tour and a couple who butted in line but we were in and out in less than five minutes with our pictures.
One of the rules was “no touching” but that rule was broken by Flat Stanley. Flat Stanley was out of control and rebellious and really needed to be disciplined but all is well that ends well as they say.
