Wrong Text Thanksgiving Dinner Invite Goes Viral

I think we've all gotten or send text messages from / to the wrong number.  Normally, it only takes a couple of messages back and forth for someone to realize it is a wrong number and end the conversations.  That's not what happened here, though...

An AZ woman named Wanda sent a text message to who she thought was her grandson.  The guy who got the message didn't think that sounded right, so he asked they exchange pics.  After seeing each other's pictures, they knew it was a wrong number.  But Jamal, the 17 year old who Wanda texted, asked if he could still come over for dinner.  Wanda said, “Of course you can. That’s what grandma’s do…feed every one.”

Such a cool story to kick off the Holiday season!

A few Christmases ago, I had a half hour long text conversation with someone I thought was one of my DJ friends from Connecticut.  It wasn't until after I asked the other person if they were gonna' be in town for New Years' Eve that they finally asked me who I was.  His loss, though.  Dylan from the 203 lost out on an awesome NYE party that year!
