Tuesday night saw the release of the final 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' trailer, which toted Sentinels and action and one speedy Quicksilver, but how's about we take a step behind the camera? Two new featurettes emerged online, and there's a ton of behind-the-scenes shenanigans to be seen from Mystique and Magneto.

While Conan O'Brien got to release the final 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' trailer, Google Play debuted these two brief behind-the-scenes looks at the epic superhero team-up film. In the videos, titled "Magneto's Helmet" and "A Fitting Story," we see all the craziness and improvised moments going on while the mutants are duking it out for the future of their race onscreen.

As the title suggests, the first look behind the camera shows a scene in which our younger Magneto (Michael Fassbender) breaks into a vault to reclaim his most notable possession, his helmet. This scene, as director Bryan Singer recalls, was written at the last minute and required a lot of improvising in composing the scene.

"A Fitting Story" (below), on the other hand, reveals the craziness within wardrobe. It's great to see Louise Mingenbach -- the costume designer behind Singer's 'X-Men' and 'X2,' and 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' -- return to dress the actors on 'Days of Future Past,' though dealing with hundreds of extras is no easy task.

In addition to these extras, 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' features an immense principal cast, including the ensembles from both the original X-Men trilogy (e.g. Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart) and the 'First Class' crew (e.g. Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence) to tell one of the most famous storylines in the original comics -- as mutant-hunting Sentinel robots decimate the planet, Wolverine is sent back in time to warn the mutants' younger selves of the life-altering moment that sets everything into motion.

'Days of Future Past' hits theaters this May 23, but until then, check out both new behind-the-scenes looks above and below.
