If you're like me, you have a bunch of old record albums and 45s just taking up space in the attic or basement or in a storage shed. Also, if you're anything like me, you've been holding on hoping they make a comeback. Well, you may not have to wait much longer!

Here's some hopeful news from Japan! New laser "record players." Only a laser touches the grooves in the vinyl so no pops, skips or scratches.

The problem is that, right now, the phonograph will cost you around fourteen grand. That's quite a bit of loot. But prices, hopefully, will drop substantially if these things take off!

If records come back, I have a vision. I want to open a record shop...yeah, that's it! And it'll be in Gardiner....and I'll call it the Music Scene!! Yeah, that's the ticket!
