A fire destroyed a two-story home early yesterday (Feb. 21) on Gordon Hill Road in Thorndike. The property is directly across from the town fire station.

No injuries were reported, but according to centralmaine.com, three have been left homeless after the fire.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation, but is not considered to be suspicious. The fire is believed to have started in a back corner of the house.

Investigators will be at the scene today.
