Maine has many farmers' markets and while it may be a little early for a huge variety of items, many markets are doing what they can to take care of the community in the best way they can...foods! Here is a list of all the farmer's markets that have been running each season. I would STRONGLY encourage you to check their websites, Facebook or other social media sites too IF the farmers' market you plan on visiting is running right now, the hours, special instructions. Some markets would not normally be running this early in the season so no need to waste a trip. But bottom line...no matter where you need to go for grocery shopping; be healthy, practice good hygiene habits and be nice!
