This story infuriates me to no end.  How does this happen???  Buses now come outfitted with bright lights...flashing STOP signs...yet, that still isn't enough to prevent a car from blasting through and hitting an innocent student.

With Halloween just around the corner, people love to excitement of ghost hunting.  It really sets the mood for this time of year.  To my surprise, you don't have to travel too far to search out spirits.  Some spots, are closer than you think.

I can't imagine what goes through people's minds at times.  Who, in any frame of mind, throw an innocent kitten at a school bus?  That's what happened to poor 'Hiccup', a black and white kitten, from Winterport.

This little boy, Enoch, deserves to have the world delivered to him on a silver platter.  What he has had to endure in the last couple of weeks, certainly isn't something anybody should have to go through.  To help with his healing, Mainers have pulled together and sent Enoch lots of gifts.

I'm trying to wrap my head around the logic, here.  People get so bent over the idea of kids accidentally ingesting marijuana 'laced' food...however, items like this, with alcohol being advertised...is seemingly OK?  I do not understand.

This was a story that literally took everyone's breath away.  A mom...stood in the passing lane of the the interstate 95...holding her 2 year old son, Enoch.  Sadly, they were hit by a mack truck.  Mom did not survive.  Enoch continues to recover at Eastern Maine Medical Center.

This is just crazy...and these 2 had angels watching over them, Sunday, when they were in a freak accident.  And the incident was caught on camera by News Center Maine's, Samantha Sugerman. While Sugerman was preparing for her news broadcast, in Norridgewock, when these two 'no-namers' appeared out of nowhere...

What a wonderful opportunity!  In light of the recent events, involving missing women in central Maine, Maine Fights Back & The Get Filthy Foundation want to help Maine women with a free self defense course.

Maine has been granted one, final, waiver to follow the federal guidelines and become Real ID compliant.  According to WGME, Maine's most recent waiver expires October 10th.

Because of an outbreak of hand, foot and mouth disease at Massabesic High School, Scarborough High School has cancelled its homecoming game against Massabesic .according to WMTW.
