It's hard to believe it's already been a year, but our annual Camp Out Hunger Food Drive is returning for its 6th annual running.

Over the last six years, the Central Maine community has shown up time and time again to donate non-perishable food and cash to help feed hungry families here in Central Maine. It's hard to put into words just how much impact YOUR contributions have had over the last half-dozen years.

You all have helped put hundreds of thousands of pounds of food and tens of thousands of dollars into the hands of the wonderful people at the Capital Region Salvation Army so that they may distribute it to people in need.

If you're not familiar with the event, let me give you a breakdown. Beginning Monday, November 4th, we (the DJs) will be living in campers around the clock at Sam's Club parking lot at the Marketplace @ Augusta.

During that week, we will be up and at em' all day long greeting community members as they stop by to make a non-perishable or cash donations. Our goal, by the end of the week, is to completely stuff the 53' 18-wheeler from Allen's Moving & Storage.

Additionally, we will be having a karaoke pizza party on that Thursday evening so make sure you come by with a donation, grab a free slice from Cappza's Pizza and belt out some tunes with us.

The event will be powered by Central Maine Power and presented by Affordable Manufactured Homes of Maine.

Thanks to Allen's Transfer - They will once again be providing us with an 18-wheeler trailer to put all of the food we have collected.

Pet Food drive sponsored by Charlie’s Subaru.  Supported by: KSW Federal Credit Union, Rotary Club of Augusta, and Connected Credit Union.
