Commercial Street in Downtown Augusta Closing for Two Weeks

Spring in Maine and the road projects are sprouting up like the flowers. According to a press release from the Augusta Police Department, Commercial Street will be closed for about two weeks starting on Monday, April 20. That is the one-way street that runs behind downtown between Bridge Street and Winthrop Street. Weather and finishing some other projects might slow the work a wee bit…but that is only a maybe. There is plenty of parking in other parts of downtown so come on down to downtown and enjoy!
