It's Monday, the first day back to work for most after the big blizzard. It may be just a Monday in February, but being the 11th, I figure I'd give you a reminder of a service that we have and that is easy to utilize if you're in search of help. If you need help, there is 2-1-1. "Get connect, get answers" as the slogan goes.

2-1-1 can get you on the way to finding help with substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, shelter, disaster preparedness, parenting or advice on another path to help with any other serious issue or crisis. 2-1-1 is funded by United Way and the State. It's your money to a degree and you deserve to know about it, and in case of trouble have 2-1-1 in your head to use.

If you're you're in a fog and don't know where to turn, 2-1-1 can be a great resource for you or someone in need. 2-1-1 is not a replacement for 9-1-1. 2-1-1 is a resource for help. If you're in immediate trouble or danger, please still use 9-1-1.
