How I Explained Sunrises And Sunsets To My Six Year Old

Yesterday, I learned something about myself: I'm not good at explaining science stuff to kids.  Not really sure how it happened, but I my six year old and I got on the topic of why the sun rises in the East and sets in the West.

I started to explain the rotation of the Earth to her, but gave up after a couple minutes.  Clearly, my attempt at explaining it to her was a complete failure.

So, I did what any reasonable parent would do, I sat her down in front of a Youtube video...
