How to Honor Fallen Military Heroes in Maine for Memorial Day
When someone says Memorial Day weekend, your brain might immediately focus on the upcoming three-day weekend, sales on cars and mattresses (I've been looking to upgrade from the queen to a king,) and fun with the family in the backyard with meats on the grill, a cold one in your hand, and kids nonsensically screaming their heads off in the background while having the time of their lives.
Memorial Day is also a proud American holiday, always observed on the last Monday of May, honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. We get to enjoy our long weekend with our loved ones because of so many brave men and women. But where in Maine can we pay our respects and honor our heroes?

Bangor, Maine Will Hold Its Annual Memorial Day Parade
Bangor will have its annual parade downtown on Monday, May 27 at 10 am. All Veterans are invited to join the parade and will receive the annual sticker.
Whether through a parade, a charity 10k or by simply displaying the American Flag outside your home, what matters is that we take a moment to remember why we have the ability to enjoy a 3-day weekend. Most importantly, don't take it for granted, and enjoy every single minute with your family and friends this Memorial Day weekend.
