When "The Losers Club" meets for dinner, you might recognize the location.

There is a pivotal scene in the movie IT Chapter Two, that folks from the Bangor area will notice right away.

The old friends reunite over Chinese dinner and have some fortune cookies at a restaurant called Jade of the Orient, which just happens to be based on the legendary Oriental Jade, located at 320 Bangor Mall Boulevard.

In fact, just recently, they hosted SK Tours of Maine, for a lunch stop during the tour.

When it came time to film the scene, it turns out that it was shot at the Mandarin Restaurant in Mississauga, Ontario.

As we all know, Stephen King created the fictional town of Derry, which is based on Bangor, which becomes very obvious when you see the landmarks in the film.

The Thomas Hill Standpipe, a water storage facility that controls the city's water pressure, inspired the Standpipe in Derry, where Stan first encounters Pennywise in the movie.

For those of you not familiar with "IT Chapter Two", when defeated by members of "The Losers Club", the evil clown Pennywise returns 27 years later to terrorize the town of Derry, Maine, once again.

Now adults, the childhood friends have long since gone their separate ways, but when people start disappearing, Mike Hanlon calls the others home for one final stand.

When the adult members of the club reunite at the Jade of the Orient restaurant, they laugh, share memories, and notice the absence of their friend Stanley.

The atmosphere turns tense when they open fortune cookies and read the single-word fortunes, which together spell out the haunting message, "Guess Stanley Could Not Cut It". The united Losers then conquer their deepest fears in order to destroy the evil Pennywise.
