Ms. Rachel, the creator and host of the YouTube series Songs for Littles, made an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show recently that caused Drew to become pretty emotional after she opened the gift that Ms. Rachel brought her.

According to Wikipedia, Rachel Accurso was born in Biddeford and raised in Sanford, Maine. She did theater while at Sanford High School, and the University of Southern Maine. and earned a master's degree in music education from New York University. She got a job as a music teacher at a public preschool in New York City and has been pursuing a second master's degree in early childhood education.

In 2019 she launched a YouTube channel aimed at young children and as of this writing has over 11.6 million subscribers becoming a worldwide sensation among toddlers and their parents. A lot of that audience discovered Ms. Rachel during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ms. Rachel has been on several talk shows and morning news programs and most recently was a guest on The Drew Barrymore Show. She brought a gift for Drew that caused her to get teary when she got her own Ms. Rachel outfit including a jean jumpsuit, t-shirt, and headband.

Here's the interview segment with Drew and Ms. Rachel.

It's always great to see a Mainer make the big time. I love what Ms. Rachel does, how it helps toddlers learn so much and it's super cool that she's from Maine.
