Hub Furniture has been a fixture in Westbrook for decades. An old photo from the Portland Press Herald in 1970 shows Hub Furniture in the city alongside places like Day's Jewelers and Hood Drug Store.

While the closure of the Westbrook, Maine, location seems imminent after the holidays, Hub Furniture will continue operations at their Portland, Maine, store.

The family-owned business has been holding strong in Portland for well over 100 years.

While other furniture stores have come and gone in the city, Hub Furniture's flagship store at 291 Fore Street continues for those looking for quality furniture.
