The Jackson, New Hampshire pumpkin people are back. This is their 40th year celebration.
Worth the road trip to see these creative creations. You'll see every kind of pumpkin from regular people to celebrities. There are over 70 different displays!
According to jacksonnh.com, there is a month long celebration in store for the town and it's visitors, including "All Things Pumpkin Tours," open houses and scavenger hunts.
This year, they are really pulling out all the stops. There is going to be more than 60 properties hosting Pumpkin People displays for all to enjoy.
It's the Pumpkin People's 40th Birthday Bash, so you might want to consider a road trip.
Jackson, New Hampshire is two hours by car from Portsmouth, New Hampshire. A little less than that from Portland, Maine to Jackson, NH.
It's also not far from Storyland in Glen, New Hampshire.
According to the Jackson, New Hampshire Chamber of Commerce site, you can vote on your favorite Pumpkin person. There's a map on their website so you can see them all.
Jackson was named after the President, Andrew Jackson in 1829, according to WMUR.
