Chick-fil-A Should Not Be Going into Patriot Place at Gillette Stadium
I may be reading into this, but whose idea was it to have a Chick-fil-A put in at Patriot Place in Foxborough?
In case you missed it, Chick-fil-A will be opening in Patriot Place, at Gillette Stadium, in 2026, according to the Patriot Place website.
This feels...stupid.
I know you're probably reading this thinking I'M the crazy one because you love their chicken (and I get it), but look where I am coming from.
THEY ARE CLOSED ON SUNDAY.
That is it...that's all I should have to say.
Wouldn't a different business, perhaps a local one, be a better fit for game days at Gillette Stadium?
You may be thinking, well there are a lot more events at Gillette than just the NFL...not really.
From now until the end of May, there are only two events on the Gillette Stadium schedule, according to their website.
In the summertime, there are more: Revs games, college playoffs, concerts, etc.
But leaving a space vacant...more importantly...not allowing a DIFFERENT LOCAL BUSINESS to operate during the most money-generating time seems...silly.
This is NOT a knock at the reason the Chick-fil-A franchise remains closed every Sunday.
This is simply a New Englander not understanding the missed opportunity for a different business.
