Since making the migration north to New Hampshire from Massachusetts, I have noticed a big difference when it comes to road rage.

There's less of it here! Period.

I am not going to say it doesn't exist, but in Boston and the surrounding areas, people are in a hurry to get somewhere, and they aren't getting there fast at all.

In fact, they are in dead-stopped traffic on 93 South at 8:45 am when they have a meeting that starts at 9 a.m. No one has time to be kind to anyone, It's every man for themself.

Then, you cross over that state border and see this sign:

You can exhale a little bit. People are generally not in such a rush, they are courteous of one another on the road, and there are just less cars on the road and therefore less traffic.

As a driver in the Granite State, this has been my experience and I can only speak to my truth.

Someone posted to the U Local New Hampshire Facebook page recently and was genuinely confused why other drivers in New Hampshire are flipping him off.

I found this so surprising!

He said he's not driving erratically, he's obeying the rules of the road, but for some reason people keep flipping this guy the bird.

He's thinking it might have something to do with the type of car he drives:

He bought this Cybertruck mostly for how much it sticks out so he can promote his wrapping business. It's working!

He mentioned in his caption that he drove this exact car across the country a month back and received zero middle fingers. Upon returning to New Hampshire he is up to 5+ in a few weeks, 30+ in total. Why the hate in his own home state?

I'll be the first one to say that I don't get the whole Cybertruck thing. I know they are expensive, but I think they are just about the ugliest thing to hit these streets since the Chrysler PT Cruiser (if you know, you know).

But I would never throw an offensive gesture someone's way simply for their car choice. That's insane behavior.

The thread caught my eye, and I started peeking at the comments to see what people were saying about this.

There were ALOT of comments insinuating that the car is ugly and that's why he is getting flipped off. Again, that is not a valid reason to me.

However, someone mentioned that perhaps the wrap job is reflecting sun into the eyeballs of other drivers and that is what is upsetting them. Now THAT makes sense. But it doesn't explain why it's only happening in New Hampshire and not in other states.

The post received A TON of engagement, albeit, a lot of it was negative. However, I'm sure he saw a bump in his wrapping business after posting this article. This guy is a businessman, and I respect his hustle.

Sorry about all of the middle fingers, sir! But keep fighting the good fight.
