Kids say the darndest things, don't they?  There's a fine line between a precocious child and a child who is flat-out FRESH.

A site called Solitaired surveyed Americans about the behaviors they witness from children in their respective cities to determine which one have the best and worst-behaved little humans.

The top rude behaviors people observed in kids for ages 5-8 are:

  • Making a mess
  • Not saying please or thank you
  • Disobeying rules

For ages 9-12:

  • Being absorbed in their phone
  • Not saying hello
  • Playing music loudly

For ages 13-17

  • Being absorbed in their phone
  • Cursing
  • Playing music or videos loudly

Naughty, naughty! Obviously, if you are a parent, your kids are always well-behaved little angels, so this really doesn't pertain to you (wink face).

According to this survey Memphis, Tennessee, is home to some of the rudest kids in the country (really? The home of Justin Timberlake? I'm shocked!).

Boston, Massachusetts, doesn't have a great reputation in the manners department when it comes to grown-ups, and it seems like the children are following in their footsteps. Boston came in at #8 as the city with the rudest kids in America.

The survey goes on to explain that 71% of residents have seen 9-to-12-year-olds being absorbed in their phones. 69% of residents have heard 13-to-17-year-olds cursing in the street. The worst-behaved age demographic in Boston is 13-to-17-year-olds (which feels like it might be the worst-behaved demographic in any city).
