Lea Michele's unconventional beauty is garnering the singer plenty of magazine covers, the latest being Marie Claire's January 2013 issue. The singer/actress is super fashion forward in the spread, mixing short dresses (like that metallic, sleeveless number and mint green belt on the cover) with heels and topping off her outfits with blazers. Her signature chocolate locks are artfully disheveled, too.

In the feature, the woman who plays Rachel Berry on 'Glee' addresses her nature as a "very outspoken" person, pointing out that it has unfairly earned her a diva reputation. "If something makes me uncomfortable, you will know that it makes me uncomfortable, but that's as far as it goes."

She continued, "I can assure you that [the diva rumors] aren't real. It's super-frustrating sometimes, and I used to fight back, but now I feel like, 'You can think what you want about me — that's OK.' I have the most amazing fans, friends and family members who have stood by me, and I know that my cast and crew really enjoy working with me. That's all that matters."

Take that, people-who-call-Michele-a-diva.

The only divaness that Michele wants in her life is that of characters in Broadway revivals. She admitted in the behind-the-scenes video that she wants to play all those characters. Any self-respecting Gleek knows she has the chops to pull 'em off.

She also talks about her evolving and celebrated red carpet style, which has transformed as she gained more fame. But she says she always took chances.
