Maine Teen Reaches Tech-Success Opening His Own Electronics Repair Shop
There is tech-magic happening in Waterville.
What's better than hearing about teens who are achieving their dreams?
This 14-year-old has done something incredible: he has shown many people that if you want something, you can have it.
With lots of hard work, determination and intelligence, Parker Redlevske just opened his very own electronic repair shop called, Techy Waterville, according to News Center Maine,
The shop is located in the Elm Plaza in Waterville, and on May 2, Parker officially opened his store with a soft launch, the article states.
Parker is still in high school but that won't stop him from going after his dream. As the article states, this all started because he was able to attend a business conference, and at that conference, he was invited on stage by Grant Cardone.
According to Fresh Works,
Grant Cardone is the founder and CEO of Cardone Enterprises. His primary venture is Cardone Training Technologies that helps companies grow sales by customizing their sales processes to be more effective.
According to the article, Grant asked Parker on stage what his goals were and while they were talking, it was being filmed. This video went viral and was able to reach many people, including Timothy Phelps, who is co-owner of the Techy Company.
Parker's goals and being a motivated youth in the tech industry had inspired Timothy Phelps, according to the article.
With the drive and determination of being a youth business owner in the tech industry, Parker was able to raise $20,000 that he needed to open the store, the news station reported. As we know, that was a success this past Monday.
Parker says, according to the article,
"I'm most excited about helping people out because not a lot of people know how to do it,"
"I was like, 'That's really interesting. I'd like to try to do that. Maybe I could make money fixing people's phones like that,".

Parker is an entrepreneur that has shown many that age is nothing but a number. The tech industry as well as math and sciences need more youth to raise up and take charge. I am happy that Parker is blazing the trail for others.
