According to a new study done by the National Institutes of Health, diet soda may be linked to depression. People who drink four or more cans are 30% more likely to be diagnosed with depression. However if you switch to unsweetened coffee it looks like you can do a 180 degree flip? The study focuses on the 50 to 70 year olds but they studied 250,000 people. The study was done between 1995 and 1996. The findings are now coming out but there is still more research to be done.

I just found this interesting because of the mass amount of soda we all consume including both regular and diet. By looking at the Top 10 Soda Brands it doesn't look like diet has a large percentage of the market place except for Diet Coke.
