Old Hallowell Day 2016 Is This Weekend!

If you are looking for something fun to do with the entire family this weekend, ya' gotta' check out Old Hallowell Day!

Actually, it's days...  Kicking off on Thursday afternoon and running through Sunday.  There'll be lots of music, arts, crafts, and...  FOOD!  Plus, if you are like me (a history geek), there'll be a lot about the history of Hallowell and the early days on the Kennebec River.

Some of the highlights:

-On Friday from 5 to 7, there'll be a lobster dinner and sing-a-long at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church

-On Saturday at 7:30 there'll be an Old Hallowell Day 5K Road Race - from boat landing to Vaughn Field

-On Saturday at 10 AM, the parade down Water Street

-On Saturday at 9 PM, fireworks in downtown
