Pirates Return to Portland Saturday [VIDEO]

The AHL's Portland Pirates are spending their final few days of training camp ramping up for the Saturday night opener against the Providence Bruins.

The game will mark a return to home for the Pirates. After playing all of last season in Lewiston, the Pirates are back at the newly renovated Cross Insurance Arena in downtown Portland.

The Pirates remain an AHL affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes of the NHL.(The franchise changed from Phoenix Coyotes to Arizona Coyotes this year)

The P-Bruins are the affiliate of the Boston Bruins. That means hockey fans in Portland get a chance to see B's #1 pick David Pastrnak play Saturday night.
