Police Investigating Shooting Death Of Young Man In West Gardiner

UPDATE: Local Man Identified As Shooting Victim

State Police have identified James Haskell, 41, of Chelsea as the victim of a deadly overnight shooting in West Gardiner.

According to WCSH 6, the shooting death of a man outside a home on Yeaton Road in West Gardiner happened around 2:45 AM this morning. Yeaton Road is a private road directly across from Fuller's Market on Hallowell Litchfield Road.

Maine State Police said the victim is a young male and was at the house for a "small gathering" Friday night.
