'Rocky For Equality' presents 'The Rocky Horror Show Live' this summer in Augusta. If you've always wanted to do the 'Time Warp,' here's your chance. Auditions were held Friday and Saturday (May 30-31) and now have been extended to Monday (June 2) from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm at the Buker Community Center on Armory Street, Augusta.
These will be open auditions for all roles for a cast of 16. Principals typically cast as 7 males, 3 females. All roles are flexible & some may be doubled. Please prepare a song from the show and be ready to read from the script. You may be asked to 'Time Warp,' so make sure you’re in comfortable clothes! This is a LIVE production and not a shadow cast. All positions are on an unpaid volunteer basis. Needed are actors, dancers and singers. Also they are looking a stage manager, production assistants, costume crew, run crew, front of house manager and staff. You must be 18 + because there is intense adult themes, strong language and nudity/partial nudity.

Callbacks, if needed, will be held Monday, June 2 from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Performances will be August 8, 9, 15 and 16 at the Calumet Club, Augusta, with part of the proceeds going to the preservation and restoration of the historic Colonial Theater in Augusta.

“Don’t dream it – Be it!” Come audition for the chance to be a part of 'Rocky For Equality’s' 2nd (semi) annual production of 'The Rocky Horror Show Live!' This campy cult classic is full of vibrant characters, and you could be one of them!
