Roxane Marie Montgomery, 46, of Oakland has been jailed and fined for repeatedly calling 911. It's not against the law to call the emergency line for help, but it is to do so repeatedly without a good reason. This is allegedly the case with Montgomery.

John Bansley, from Ohio, recently dialed 911 to complain that his ex-wife was withholding five cans of beer from him.

An Oakland woman arrested two weeks ago for repeatedly dialing 911 without a good reason was arrested again this week. It was for the same crime. In fact, she has faced the same charge four times.
