It's pie time, friends.

It's a tough job, but someone has to do it. Thanks to the Litchfield Fair for inviting us, again this year, to judge the Apple Pie Contest.

Wow. The Crust is perfect...the apples are heavenly...the cinnamon is killer. Together, this apple pie, from Mac's wife, Jeana, sung to me in tasty and beautiful harmony. Translation: This is one of the best apple pies I've had!

The Litchfield Fair is a central Maine favorite and runs (Sept 5 - Sept 7) through Sunday. We're happy to be back again this year to help judge the apple pie baking contest.

I can't even begin to tell you how many times, by 7am, I'm craving a burger and fries. Well now, thanks to Burger King, maybe I'll be able to fulfill my morning lust!
