Earlier today we bit the bullet and bought a car. The Saab we had served us well over the past few years but recently she was getting temperamental. It was almost to the point it was getting possessed.
It’s official. We’ve crossed over as a family. We’re in the market for a minivan. As family of five, when we go anywhere as a whole family we need every seat in the car.
Over the fast week or so I’ve been looking at used cars. If there is one thing I find hard it is the decision and commitment involved in buying a car. I’ve done test drives with cars from a very good dealership in Western Maine. They’ve been really more like "loaner length" type test drives.
With income tax time come thoughts of how to better the house and our lives at home. Of course it’s also time to catch up on some excesses bought from the previous year and a time to get caught up. It’s also a time to maybe and I stress maybe a time to consider buying a car.
