According to the Kennebec Journal, the longstanding central Maine children's museum will close it's Augusta doors permanently and work on moving into its new location in Waterville. The Children's Discovery Museum, Capitol St, Augusta, presents a very special event today (Oct. 23) from 3 pm to 6 pm. It's the opportunity for two local Boys & Girls Clubs, the Kennebec Valley YMCA and the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program to all collaborate with the Children’s Discovery Museum for the first time, with support from the Maine Afterschool Network.
