Well, there's no holiday sense of understanding on the roads in Augusta, I'll tell ya that. I saw a guy from Public Works stringing lights on the tree in the center of the Cony Circle of Death today and I did what any other news reporter would have done. I abandoned my vehicle in my lane on the circle, got out and took this neat photo! How festive!

The Cony High School Celebrity Waiter Dinner was Friday night at the Calumet Club in Augusta and was very well attended by people out for a great time in support of a great program! Good things happening with keeping kiddos in school. The Maine Department of Education released a report recently showed that the four-year graduation rate for Maine schools rose for a third year in a row . The average is now 85.34 %. An increase is good, but there is always more work to be done.
