Cross Country

I have run hundreds and hundreds of miles in my life (okay, mostly in my youth) and ran into many different obstacles and problems. Nothing like this, though.

Congratulations to Waterville High School's, Bethanie Brown. She's been named the 'Gatorade Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year for Maine.' It's been quite a year. She won the Class B state championship and went on to finish seventh at the New England meet and 11th at the Foot Locker Northeast Regionals.
