This iconic local ice cream shop is now open for the season in Lewiston/Auburn and everyone is running!

Believe it or not, spring is just around the corner. This is the first day many ice cream stands open for the season. I know that Fielder’s Choice in Manchester and Sabattus already have, so warmer weather is sure to follow.

I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend and took out a bit of time to remember why we have  it. Thank you all who served and serve for keeping us free. Of course Memorial Day weekend is also about the beginning of summer and tourist season as well as drinks, camping and food. Barbeques are most common on Memorial Day, but where there was no family gathering this year we made "Memere's Chic

As the weather warms up, more and more ice cream and frozen custard places open up. I really want to try that new place in Manchester, Fielder's Choice. It always looks busy and it is on my way home from work.
