The chain had reportedly been seeing increased competition from fast-fashion outlets.

After Forever 21's closure in 2020, Olympia Sports came next on the chopping block two years later, followed by Abercrombie & Fitch.

Does anyone else feel like we're constantly losing stores that feel like comfort to us in the Maine Mall? After these three stores went down, it now seems like the only stores left are walking on eggshells.

Good intentions or not.... What were they thinking???
