Not often to I get to share the show with my wife, but I did this morning. Marie-Anne has spearheaded the second annual "Dance for MaineGeneral Hospice.
On Saturday, April 11th, Hospice Volunteers of Somerset County will have an amazing dinner, auction and dance! It will happen at T & B's Celebration Center of Madison Avenue in Skowhegan.
Marie Anne's mom passed away late last summer. She died at home, as per her wish, thanks to Maine General Hospice, a non-profit arm of the hospital. Marie Anne said she wanted to raise money for them. I knew she'd see that desire to fruition. Tomorrow night at the Calumet Club in Augusta, it happens.
Have some fun and help a great cause on Saturday (Aug 10) at the '2nd Annual Cancer Hospice Fundraiser' at the Horseshoe Campground in New Portland. There will be a bake sale, bean hole bean supper and live entertainment. The event supports local hospice efforts.
