A woman has been rescued and a man is in jail on Monday following a scary series of events that transpired through multiple Maine towns over the weekend.

Cory Williams, 39 of Pittston, was charged Wednesday night with operating under the influence of alcohol

An inmate was accidentally released earlier today (March 12) from the Kennebec County Jail.
