Maeghan Maloney, District Attorney for Kennebec and Somerset County, Donna Strickler, Executive Director of the Sexual Assault Crisis and Support Center and Ryan Reardon, Kennebec County Sheriff, all joined us on the Moose Morning Show to discuss tonight's (Aprill 11) important community forum and panel discussion.

As wonders never cease! Maeghan Maloney (District Attorney for Kennebec and Somerset Counties) and her staff won lunch from 92 Moose (Mid-Week Lunch Bunch) and Rooster's Coal Fired Pizza and Tap House, today. It just so happened to be the day after the election in which she easily won re-election to her D.A. post!

A Protection from Abuse Order is just a piece of paper. Well, when it comes down to stopping further abuse by someone hellbent on causing injury, that is a truism. But now, that piece of paper has grown some teeth.

I finally got her on the show! Kennebec and Somerset County District Attorney, Maeghan Maloney along with Lynne Dailey of the Family Violence Project stopped in to tell us about a vigil followed by a speak out in Waterville on Wednesday. The event is called, "Pinwheels for Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Awareness."
