This week, a young Mainer's dreams were realized as Make-A-Wish Maine granted their wish for a trip to Disney.

A young boy who's been fighting Leukemia for years had his dreams come true in South Portland, Maine.

Even before Gronk revealed that he was getting his wish, the kid said it was “This is probably the most fun I’ve had all decade.”

The Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area Foundation truly set the bar for themselves. In fulfilling the dream of 5-year-old Miles, an epic Batman fan in remission from leukemia, the organization transformed San Francisco into a modern-day Gotham City on Friday and called on Miles to come save the day.

What a beautiful morning for a walk, huh? And to walk for a good cause even better. This morning I helped in launching the first Augusta 'Make A Wish' walk in some time. It was done in years past, but fizzled away for some reason but the walk has been re-organized, re-energized and is happening again.

Matt is a great kid. He's 14, has a great attitude, goes to St. Michael School and, oh yeah, he needs a new heart. He is on a waiting list and will, eventually, receive one from a donor. Until then, he and his family live day to day, waiting and hoping for that call...
