Not gonna lie, I'm pretty freakin' excited about this. This is going to be the first time Keri and I have been able to go anywhere for a night, just the two of us, since 2019. Yeah, I know, it's crazy.
Obviously we have had the opportunity to do quite a bit of family vacationing this year, especially because of COVID-19...
Saturday was the one year anniversary of Zardus Art of Massage and Wellness Spa on Lincoln Avenue in Gardiner. What a celebration it was inside a beautiful historic building directly across from the Gardiner Common, where I spent every afternoon with my kids back in the day.
It had been some time since we'd heard from my grandfather. When he called us up on the Moose Morning Show recently, he was in a very upbeat mood as he was looking forward to getting a massage and couldn't wait for the "therapist" to arrive!
Jon and Renee have been encouraging me to get a massage for years. The closest I've come was with physical therapy after my recent back surgery.
People tell me all the time that I'm too tense and that I need to relax. My problem... I like my personal space...
Okay, so I go to Mahala's Day Spa at the Oakes and Parkhurst Mall on Western Avenue in Manchester. Sarah Allory is standing by a foot bath full of hot water waiting for me. I think I may have squealed with delight. Sorry. TMI....
Robot technology is often spectacular when's it's on full display, like the Mars rover, military drones and the Roomba. These incredible machines often complete tasks that humans can only hope to achieve. One company is putting robotic technology to its best use yet: providing automated massages through the use of a tiny car that motors across your body.
We all would like to relax a little more than we do. Heck, maybe even a nice little massage (Okay, not me, because I have this personal space thing I deal with.) Well, super diva Mariah Carey must be really stressed, because she recently received an eight-hour rub-down while she got shut-eye at her L.A. mansion.
