For the first time in my entire life, I was involved in an at-fault accident. It happened on Monday morning just after 10 AM at the intersection of Western Avenue and Memorial Circle (The Rotary).
The irony here is, if you listen to the Moose Morning Show enough, I'm always complaining about drivers on Augusta's rotaries and how ignorant some people can be...
In her hands, Laura Benedict from the Red Barn Cares Foundation hold's 100 $5 bills which she is giving out in Augusta this morning. She wants to pay-it-forward and is doing it with no qualification for the recipient other than being in the right place at the right time.
As I got on to Memorial Circle yesterday I saw a man holding a sign. Not unusual at all. What WAS out of the ordinary, however, is this sign wasn't looking for a handout of money. Instead, it encouraged people to give to the Salvation Army and local food banks!
